VFR Helicopter Pilot Med-Trans EG

Med-Trans Corporation is seeking a skilled VFR Helicopter Pilot for our Med-Trans EG air medical base within the Emergency Services department of the Healthcare & Medical Services industry. As a VFR Helicopter Pilot, you will play a critical role in safely transporting acutely ill and injured patients and medical teams between hospitals, scenes, and specialty care facilities. You will operate a modern, well-maintained helicopter fleet under visual flight rules, strictly following all FAA regulations, company policies, and established aviation and clinical safety standards. In this safety-first, mission-driven role, you will conduct pre-flight planning, weather evaluation, and risk assessments, ensure proper aircraft weight and balance, and maintain continuous communication with dispatch, medical crew, and air traffic control. You will be responsible for safe and efficient flight operations in both day and night VFR conditions, often in time-sensitive emergency situations, while maintaining calm, professional judgment under pressure. Working closely with flight paramedics, nurses, and other clinical staff, you will help facilitate rapid access to critical care while supporting a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and respect. As a member of this team, you will participate in recurrent training, check rides, and simulations to maintain proficiency, as well as safety briefings, debriefings, and quality improvement initiatives.
