LPN

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department in a hospital setting. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of Registered Nurses and physicians to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care to diverse patient populations. You will perform direct patient care such as obtaining vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient status, and accurately documenting care in the electronic medical record. You will administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and MVHS policies, observe patients for changes in condition, and promptly report and document findings to the supervising RN or provider. The LPN will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to support care plans, coordinate with patients and families to provide education and emotional support, and help ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to infection control and safety standards, and a commitment to patient dignity and respect.
