In this role, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment. The Specialty LPN supports physicians and registered nurses in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs in a specialty setting, such as cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, or other focused clinical areas. The Specialty LPN is responsible for performing skilled nursing procedures within the LPN scope of practice, including obtaining vital signs, administering medications, performing wound care, collecting specimens, assisting with diagnostic tests and minor procedures, and monitoring patients for changes in condition. The role requires accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and adherence to infection control and quality improvement initiatives. At MVHS, you will be part of a supportive culture that values teamwork, respect, and employee welfare.
