*Summary*
We are seeking a friendly, detail oriented optician to join our team at Tishomingo Vision Center. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting patients with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive the best possible vision solutions while delivering outstanding customer service. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our patients' visual experiences.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their prescription and lifestyle.
* Perform eyewear fittings, adjustments, and repairs.
* Educate patients on lens options, coatings and care.
* Provide education to patients on proper eyewear care and usage.
* Maintain inventory of optical products and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with optometrists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Handle patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as an optician or in a related field is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of optical products and services.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Familiarity with medical billing processes is a plus.
