Job Description
Perform Advanced System Simulation and Optimization Modeling supporting design of large and complex pharmaceutical and medical device supply chains using advanced operations research models.
Design data science solutions based on gathering and translation of business requirements.
Integrate models into end‑to‑end production strength solutions which can be deployed for use by business users.
Develop new algorithms and mathematical models for supply chain optimization of manufacturing and distribution sites.
Analyze and de‑bottleneck supply chains using stochastic and statistical models.
Deploy supply chain optimization software solutions built by coding in Python, SQL and Tableau.
Develop end‑to‑end supply chain network simulation models using SIMIO tool for high‑volume pharma and medical device products and analyze potential risk associated with delivering products on time.
Develop supply chain digital twin using graph databases in Neo4j.
May telecommute.
Requirements Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Lead Data Scientist‑related occupation.
Benefits
Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for Colorado residents; 56 hours for Washington residents)
Holiday pay, including floating holidays: 13 days per calendar year
Work, personal and family time: up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement leave: 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver leave: 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period (10 days)
Volunteer leave: 32 hours per calendar year
Military spouse time‑off: 80 hours per calendar year
Eligible to participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
