This job description may be adjusted based on changing business needs. Responsibilities
Test and release finished product samples Monitor key processing Critical Control Points Periodically test packaging integrity, fill weights, and fill levels Inspect finished goods packaging Collect retain samples Conduct pre-operational inspections and release equipment for use Perform environmental monitoring swabs, read and record results Inspect and document the condition of inbound and outbound trucks Participate in regular Food Safety Team meetings Ensure the plant is audit ready (SQF, Organic, FDA, and customer audits) Qualifications:
Strong communication skills Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Ability to work with multiple departments including Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse & Logistics, and Research & Development Ability to use a computer and tablet Must speak, read and write English Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred Physical requirements
Move/Lift up to 50lbs Stands most of the day Works in Cold Room 25%-50% of the time Must wear Personal Protective Equipment
