• Contracted salary for 40 hours per week

As a Gym Manager, you will take on a varied role with responsibilities that span from financial management to team development. Your focus will include:

• Driving gym performance by setting actionable improvement plans and ensuring a safe, legal environment.
• Creating a positive and motivating work atmosphere.
• Building a highly engaged team of Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches, understanding their motivations, and coaching them for career growth.
• Recruiting new talent and finding innovative ways to attract Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches.
• Delivering an exceptional member experience through a constant focus on service and standards.
• Managing and enhancing the Group Exercise offerings within the gym.

Reporting to a Cluster Manager, you will collaborate with a talented team of Gym Managers and fitness professionals, all dedicated to creating an exceptional member experience. You’ll play a key role in fostering a great workplace for both your team and gym members, while also building strong relationships with other Gym Managers in your cluster to enhance overall performance.

• Previous management experience and a genuine passion for fitness and wellbeing.

• A desire to support others in reaching their full potential.
• Comfort with managing budgets, financial reporting, and inventory.
• A strong sense of integrity, resilience, and confidence in driving results.
• A Level 2 qualification in gym instructing, along with experience in teaching group exercise.
