Business Analyst
to support data governance, reporting, and business process initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience organizing and documenting business and data requirements. This is a hybrid position based in Dutchess County, NY.
Starting at $45/hour.
Business Analyst's Responsibilities and Duties:
Create and maintain data dictionaries, data catalogs, and DTS (data transfer specifications) Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and data needs Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and consistent data management practices Support reporting and dashboard initiatives using Microsoft tools and Power BI Write and interpret SQL queries to analyze and validate data Assist with data mapping, data governance, and process improvement initiatives Business Analyst's Qualifications and Skills:
At least 3 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Steward role Experience creating and maintaining data dictionaries, data catalogs, and DTS documentation Strong experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Office products Ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data Strong verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude and ability to build relationships across teams
