Description
Experience working specifically on child support system modernization projects. Prior success mentoring or training Government staff in project management practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise information system transformation projects. Provide strategic guidance to Government stakeholders on IT modernization initiatives. Define business and technical requirements in collaboration with product owners, subject matter experts, and scrum teams. Manage highly complex, large‑scale enterprise projects as well as smaller IT initiatives. Coordinate and lead development teams and vendors to ensure successful solution delivery. Establish and enforce project governance, monitoring, and control frameworks. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within approved budgets. Mentor Government personnel in project management practices and support knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of child support program policies, procedures, and business practices. Experience supporting child support system modernization initiatives. Proven success managing complex information technology solutions. Strong understanding of project management and governance principles. Knowledge of multiple software development methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage vendor performance in enterprise environments.

Background Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
