This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Coverage of a 24-hour period or shift; includes daytime rounding 6-8 hours, remainder of shift is unrestricted call

• Job Setting: 6-18 patients per day

• Types of Cases: Urgent and elective GI procedures to diagnose and treat digestive diseases, including upper endoscopy (EGD) for bleeding or reflux, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy for screening or polyp removal. Urgent procedures to address upper/lower GI bleeding – variceal banding/sclerotherapy, homeostasis techniques, and foreign object removal.

• Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days

• Must be able to perform: ERCP preferred, not required.

• Must be Board Certified and have an active Oregon license and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
