Emergency Medicine

• Clinical activities: continue to work to improve the delivery of emergency care; the Emergency Department has POC (Point of Care) testing of labs to expedite care.

• Research activities are encouraged using IRB/R&D approved protocols for clinical research.

• Administrative activities: chart reviews, meetings/committees, and other duties as needed.

• Educational activities: continue teaching residents and medical students in the outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as leading lectures for health care personnel at this Medical Center.

• Maintains familiarity and compliance with Telehealth policies and procedures, ensuring the use of antiseptic methods of all in-clinic procedures.

• Our other activities include the discharge of Administrative Duties, teaching, and mentoring and continuing education (TMS) to improve our skills and knowledge.

• Ensures a safe work environment and employee safe work habits

Work Schedule: 8-12-hour shifts covering either day, night shifts and weekends VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. VHA Physician Total Rewards . Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
