Position Details:

Patient Population: Adult Hematology/Oncology
Setting: Outpatient chemotherapy & infusion center + hospital consults
Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning
• Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, hormone therapy oversight
• Precision medicine and symptom management
• Infusion center supervision (MD onsite for all treatments)
• Inpatient consults and call coverage
• Work collaboratively with APP and clinic team

Required Procedures: Chemotherapy/infusion oversight, transfusions, therapeutic phlebotomy, full oncology/hematology management
EMR System: iKnowmed (clinic), Cerner (infusion)
Support Staff: APP, clinic RN, 2 MAs, front office staff, billing/QA, 10 infusion RNs
Days Per Month: Full-time weekdays
On-Call/Weekends: Call required

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology
• Fellowship trained
• Active California license
• DEA
• NPDB self-query within 30 days
