Summary Trident Seafoods is seeking a SAP Master Data Business Analyst to join the Trident team to work on an exciting strategic initiative. This is a critical global transformation to improve supply chain efficiency, deliver world‑class sales performance, and provide the fuel to rebuild its infrastructure, including its vessels and Alaska factories. The company has selected SAP S/4HANA as its future ERP system, transitioning from a legacy JD Edwards platform in the US and Japan, and an older SAP instance in Europe. This will be an IT/Business support role for the new S/4 HANA ERP system. This position reports to the Global Master Data Leader and is to work closely under the Master Data Leader’s process guidelines.
Essential Functions
Execute master data creation and maintenance in accordance with established standard operating procedures, templates/mapping documents, service level objectives, and Trident seafoods project plans.
Complete/process SAP data loads utilizing data workflow tools, load templates and corresponding programs, mass change transactions, and/or direct entry depending on the situation.
Enforce gatekeeper processes requiring appropriate data and approvals to ensure SOX compliance.
Uphold SAP master data standards by validating/normalizing/cleansing data to ensure adherence to technical and business rules, naming conventions, abbreviations, etc.
Run error reports and/or pull data to identify inconsistencies and data load corrections.
Perform periodic data audits.
Function as a master data knowledge resource by helping the business understand master data and the data workflow tools used to request adds/changes (level 1 support).
Document data issues engaging Manager to work with the business and technical teams as needed to reach resolution.
Provide business and third parties such as customers, warehouses, and consultants with ad hoc reporting as directed.
Work with a Master Data team Sr. Analyst and/or Lead and to understand rules and data setup for new requirements due to system enhancements, process improvements, and/or business rule changes. Process changes on Master Data Lead’s approval for changes.
Provide support for testing and implementation.
Maintain logs/shared files to document master data activity for projects, status reports, and internal audit and compliance processes.
Create/maintain standard operating procedures, improve user request forms, and maintain documentation to promote data consistency.
Build programs and/or provide technical build insights for data load utilities in alignment with data requirements for the business.
Provide cross‑training/sharing knowledge with teammates to build skills across the master data team members.
Regularly work onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.
Provide work and task progress updates to MDM Lead on a recurring basis.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $90,000 to $120,000.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, management information systems, mathematics, or engineering or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of Master Data support, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Minimum 2 years of experience using SAP or ERP system, with focus on Master Data governance or support.
Proficient in SAP MM/PM/WM/SD/FICO with hands‑on current experience.
Strong Material Master, BOMs and Supplier Master Data knowledge and its usage across the supply Chain organization.
Direct hands‑on experience in maintaining master data across SAP S/4 HANA and in Fiori in a large enterprise in alignment with enterprise master data process.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Preferred Education & Experiences
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management, or operations management.
Experience with Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma tools is a plus.
Experience in implementation of a data governance process and use of data governance tool(s) is a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of IBP application is a plus.
Technical skills such as LSMW builds, MDM governance applications experience is a plus.

This is an on‑site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. In‑office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
Work Ability Requirements While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision for frequent use of a computer.
