Linn Manor Care Center is a 38-bed, nonprofit skilled nursing community, inclusive of 13 independent living apartments and two private homes serving Marion and the surrounding area since 1979.
Our mission: Life enriching experiences and innovative health care to meet our resident, family, and community needs through Christian care, everyday.
Rooted in a conservative Christian mission, Linn Manor provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in a setting defined by dignity, personal connection, and a true home-like environment.
We are seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who brings both operational discipline and mission alignment—a leader who can deliver strong performance while honoring the purpose behind the work.

*What You’ll Own*
1. Culture & Leadership
* Set and sustain a mission-driven, accountable culture
* Lead, coach, and develop department heads
* Address performance issues directly and constructively
* Build trust with staff, residents, and families through visible leadership
* Model and reinforce Linn Manor’s Christian values in daily operations
2. Clinical Quality & Compliance
* Maintain ongoing survey readiness and regulatory compliance
* Lead QAPI initiatives focused on measurable improvement
* Partner with nursing leadership to drive outcomes in:
* Infection control
* Fall reduction
* Readmissions
* Ensure timely, professional response to concerns and incidents
3. Financial Leadership & Operational Performance
* Deliver consistent positive operating performance to support reinvestment and growth
* Manage labor, census, and expenses with discipline
* Balance efficiency with high standards of care
* Identify opportunities to strengthen operations and long-term viability
* Partner with the Board on financial strategy and capital priorities
4. Census Growth & Community Reputation
* Maintain and grow census through strong referral relationships
* Ensure access aligned with mission while maintaining a healthy payer mix
* Position Linn Manor as a trusted, high-quality provider in the Marion/Cedar Rapids market
* Serve as a visible and credible community leader
5. Resident & Family Experience
* Ensure every resident is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect
* Lead resolution of concerns with urgency and professionalism
* Maintain a true home-like, relationship-centered environment
*What Success Looks Like *(12–18 Months)
* Consistent positive financial performance supporting reinvestment
* Stable or growing census with balanced payer mix
* Strong survey results and regulatory compliance
* Improved staff retention and leadership stability
* Progress on facility improvements or capital priorities
* Strong reputation among residents, families, and referral partners
*Who You Are*
Required
* Active Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license
* Leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
* Strong understanding of regulatory environment and survey process
* Financial and operational management experience

*Structure & Compensation*
Reports to the Board of Directors, which is _engaged but not operational. You will have genuine day-to-day authority with strategic partnership and accountability at the governance level._

* *P*erformance bonus based on attainment of goals set in partnership with board, plus paid continuing education for license maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
