Overview The Landscape Architecture Design Professional collaborates on multidisciplinary projects, managing multiple tasks and coordinating with internal teams to meet project goals, budgets, and schedules. Key responsibilities include site planning, developing high‑quality design concepts and documentation, preparing and delivering presentations, and supporting approval and permitting processes. This is a full‑time position, paid bi‑weekly on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
Collaborates on diverse projects, including parks and recreation, urban planning, mixed‑use developments, higher education, K‑12, sports facilities, hospitality, streetscapes, trails, faith‑based, and civic spaces
Provides site planning, landscape design, and produces high‑quality conceptual designs, construction documents, and detailed specifications
Manages working on multiple projects and tasks
Coordinates within multidisciplinary teams and maintains project scopes to align with objectives, budgets, and schedules
Delivers compelling presentations to clients, stakeholders, and public audiences
Applies development ordinances and codes to designs in order to facilitate approval processes
Actively engages in professional development, community involvement, and industry events
Grows in the profession of Landscape Architecture and learns from mentors
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
Registered Professional Landscape Architect (RLA/PLA) license or the ability to obtain the license
Expertise in design software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, GIS, and 3D modeling tools such as Lumion
Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilitiesA team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high‑quality work
