Director, MarTech and Analytics
to join their growing organization. This position is a hybrid New York Metro-based role. Salary range: $150,000-165,000 About ATS
The American Technion Society (ATS) supports visionary education and world-changing impact through the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Based in New York City, it represents thousands of US donors, alumni, and stakeholders who invest in the Technion's growth and innovation to advance critical research and technologies that serve the State of Israel and the global good. ATS employs a staff of 60+ that work from New York and in regional offices across the United States. Your Role
We are seeking a Director of MarTech and Analytics to lead the strategy and daily management of our marketing technology and data ecosystem. This role is central to driving revenue growth—acquisition, retention, and expansion—while strengthening our brand and unlocking donor insights. This is a senior hire and a new position. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will serve as a key strategic advisor, partnering on decisions that shape how we reach and convert donors in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. You will build a data‑first approach across the team and execute tactics including: developing audience funnels based on user journeys, establishing channel reporting, advertising dashboards, and measurement frameworks. You will help connect the dots across channels and audiences to offer insights that make data actionable. You will work closely with leadership, collaborate with the senior director of marketing on editorial strategy, supervise a direct report, and interface with external vendors including advertising partners and technology consultants. Primary Duties
Own the MarTech stack. Manage and optimize all marketing technology including our website, email platform, donation systems, analytics tools, and automation systems with our team and vendors. Design, implement, and monitor user journey funnels from first impression through conversion for each audience segment and campaign. Develop and maintain channel performance measurements and advertising dashboards. Create standardized reporting across all channels: email, paid advertising, organic, social, and web. Work with the CMO to establish KPIs and the dashboards that make them visible. Drive testing and optimization. Design A/B tests and deeper experiments to improve conversion rates, engagement, and ROI across campaigns and donation forms. Translate data into action. Using data, identify what is working and what is not, and turn findings into clear recommendations for leadership. Audit and optimize email lists and segmentation. Evaluate how we manage and segment our audiences and recommend changes that move us from campaign‑driven sends to data-informed, audience‑first strategy. Partner with IT, marketing leadership, and vendors to evaluate and rollout technology investments that improve performance and accelerate ROI. Serve as the internal bridge between marketing needs and technical implementation. Lead SEO and GEO strategy for audience growth, engagement, and conversion, keeping the organization current as search behavior shifts toward AI‑generated answers and new discovery channels. Establish governance, documentation, and training for all MarTech tools. Build adoption plans so the broader team can use these systems confidently. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational security standards across all marketing platforms. Supervise one direct report and collaborate closely with the senior director of marketing, gift processing staff, data analytics staff across the organization, and external vendors. Manage vendor relationships. Who You Are
You have 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, MarTech, or a related field, ideally with nonprofit or mission‑driven organizations. You have hands‑on experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, CRM/email platforms, and marketing automation tools. Experience with Engaging Networks is a plus. You think in funnels and user journeys, not just pageviews. You can map the path from ad impression to donation and identify where people drop off. You are a strong communicator who can translate technical findings into plain language for non‑technical colleagues and leadership. You build alignment, not just reports. You see the forest and the trees. You are rigorous in the data while always connecting it back to strategy, revenue, and organizational goals. You have experience managing or mentoring team members and collaborating across departments. You are curious and forward‑looking. You do not just implement best practices; you want to push beyond them and experiment with what comes next. You are a good cultural fit for a close‑knit team. You are collaborative, direct, and comfortable working in a smaller organization where everyone is visible. Technical Expertise
Deep experience implementing and managing analytics frameworks, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager to track user journeys. Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) to build executive‑ready dashboards. Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms including segmentation logic, lifecycle journeys, and API‑based integrations. Strong understanding of website architecture, CMS platforms, and front‑end performance considerations. Experience implementing conversion tracking, event schemas, and debugging tracking issues across web and paid channels. Familiarity with SEO technical fundamentals including AI‑driven discovery. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices for consent management, tracking compliance, and data security. Organizational Values
