Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Storytelling:
Translate business priorities and leadership messaging into clear, engaging internal content.
Proactively identify and pitch stories that reinforce culture, performance, and key employee moments.
Partner with Internal Communications teams to shape narrative arcs and content campaigns.
Channel Management & Optimization:
Develop and manage monthly editorial calendars across global internal channels.
Publish and manage content across global channels, tailoring for audience, region, and maximum impact.
Track engagement metrics and use insights to refine content strategy.
Content Creation & Production:
Create a diverse range of content formats, including articles, feature stories, short‑form video, and visual storytelling (graphics, slides, intranet features).
Edit and refine content from subject‑matter experts into compelling employee‑facing narratives.
Act as a one‑person production team (producer, interviewer, shooter, editor) for video content, including filming, producing, and editing executive messages, employee stories, and event coverage.
Executive & Leader Communications:
Adapt long‑form leadership communications into concise internal social posts and video concepts.
Coach leaders to communicate authentically and inspiringly across written and video formats.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
4+ years of hands‑on content creation experience in corporate communications, media, brand, or agency environments.
Demonstrated ability to personally produce content end‑to‑end, not just manage others:
Write and edit long‑ and short‑form content with exceptional editorial judgment.
Storyboard, script, film, and edit video content (interviews, leadership messages, B‑roll) for multiple formats, including rapid turnaround for executive communications.
Strong interview skills to uncover compelling stories from leaders and employees.
Proven ability to translate complex business topics into clear, engaging employee content.
Experience supporting executive communications preferred.
Tools & Platforms (Hands‑on Proficiency):
Video & Audio: Smartphone/tablet (primary capture) + basic lighting/audio kits; Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut / Descript (or similar); basic audio editing.
Design & Visual: Canva (must‑have); Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar; PowerPoint (visual storytelling).
Publishing & Collaboration: SharePoint / Staffbase / Workvivo (or similar intranet CMS); Microsoft Teams / Viva Engage; email publishing platforms.
Analytics: Native intranet analytics dashboards; basic video analytics.
Professional & Working Style:
Highly self‑directed, proactive, and comfortable working directly with senior leaders.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment.
Global mindset with sensitivity to tone, culture, and regional nuances.
Portfolio or work samples required
(video, writing, visual content).
Location : Hybrid – Mondelez Fulton Market office in Chicago (50%).
Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education‑related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Many benefits have eligibility requirements and are subsidized or fully paid for by the company. No relocation support available.
