What You’ll Be Doing Successful Solutions Engineering Associates will develop strong expertise in Alloy’s platform, APIs, and the identity and fraud landscape, enabling them to present the best technical solutions to our customers.
Delivering product demonstrations for select upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
Building customized demo environments and product demonstration experiences
Supporting and executing proof‑of‑concept (POC) and proof‑of‑value (POV) exercises
Working cross‑functionally with teams like Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to answer technical questions and unblock customer use cases
Who We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in a technical or customer‑facing role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Support, or a similar role supporting technical products
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
Demonstrated curiosity and a strong desire to learn new technologies quickly in a fast‑moving environment
A thoughtful communicator who listens first and asks targeted follow‑up questions to understand customer needs
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments while maintaining integrity, accountability, and strong collaboration with teammates
Hands‑on experience working with APIs, including making API calls using cURL, Postman, or related technologies
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, including debugging API requests and identifying root causes
Experience reading and working with object‑oriented code. Scripting/coding ability is a huge plus!
Experience working in the Fintech/Banking space is a plus!

Compensation This position has a salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 on a 70/30 base + commission structure.
