The Opportunity As an Associate QA Engineer, you will join a globally distributed Quality Engineering team supporting modern, scalable wealth‑management technology. This role is designed for early‑career engineers who want to build strong foundations in testing, automation, and quality practices while learning from experienced QA and engineering professionals.
Candidates must be able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and be located near our Charlotte, NC office.
Key Responsibilities Quality Engineering Fundamentals
Knowledge of core QA principles including SDLC, STLC, test types, and automation.
Execute manual and automated test cases and report results accurately.
Identify, document, and communicate functional defects clearly using test management tools.
Test Automation & Technical Skills
Maintain and execute existing automation test suites.
Write and update basic automation scripts using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Apply automation best practices related to maintainability, reusability, and reliability.
Use version control systems and understand basic CI/CD concepts.
Leverage AI‑assisted tools to support test scripting and productivity.
Learning & Continuous Improvement
Develop understanding of system architecture and testing approaches.
Actively seek feedback and incorporate guidance from mentors.
Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality practices.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in software development or quality engineering.
Strong fresh graduates with a solid technical foundation are welcome.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language: Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Ability to write basic automation scripts using control structures and functions.
Basic understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals).
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
Professional Skills
Strong attention to detail and testing discipline.
Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and quality practices.
Clear written communication for documenting test results and defects.
Ability to follow established coding, testing, and QA standards.

Base Salary range: $65,000 - $82,000. The position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
