Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design activities from concept through qualification and production release Interpret customer and airworthiness requirements to define compliant design solutions Create engineering drawings, 3D CAD models and bill of materials to company standards Validate designs through analysis, testing and performance evaluation activities Provide engineering support to manufacturing, resolving technical and design-related issues Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver programme milestones
Mechanical Design Engineer
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Experience in mechanical product design within a regulated engineering environment Strong 3D CAD experience Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication or brazing Strong problem-solving and communication skills
