WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for Locum Tenens coverage beginning ASAP. This opportunity supports multi-site hospital-based imaging services and offers recurring weekday coverage with a blend of IR and general diagnostic work.

• Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)

• Coverage Type: Locum Tenens

• Commitment: 1 2 weeks per month

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (includes 1-hour lunch)

• Setting: Hospital-based imaging across multiple campuses

• Onsite Requirement: Yes onsite coverage required

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 5 6 weeks

This role provides interventional radiology coverage with light IR combined with general diagnostic radiology. The case mix is approximately % IR (5 6 procedures per day) and % general diagnostic imaging ( reads per day, including CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and general studies). Required procedural proficiency includes bone biopsy, nephrostomy tube exchange, liver biopsies, and angiograms. Physicians with light IR experience will be supported, with complex IR procedures handled by dedicated IR physicians. The radiologist will work within a team-based model supported by radiology PAs assisting with IR procedures, reading room assistants, and after-hours nighthawk coverage. Systems include GE Universal PACS and PowerScribe 360 voice recognition.

BC in Interventional Radiology.
Active state license or open to candidates in the licensure process.
