Job Title: Locum Tenens General Cardiologist

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for a flexible locum tenens opportunity. This position offers a mix of clinic, procedural work, and call responsibilities in a supportive environment.

• Flexible schedule: 1 2 weeks per month + 1 weekend
• Clinic, procedures, and call coverage
• Lab coverage: 3 days per week
• Average call volume:
  • Nights: minimal (typically 0 callbacks)
  • Weekends: minimal (rounding required)

• Combination of clinic and hospital
• 150-bed hospital
• Established clinic with 1 full-time physician
• Support from APPs (especially when working with interventional services)
• EMR: EPIC

• Average patients per day
• Adult patient population
• Procedures include:
  • Nuclear reads
  • Stress testing
  • TEEs (transesophageal echocardiograms)
  • Cardioversions
  • Echo monitoring

• Board Certification: BC/BE in Cardiology
• Required Skills:
  • Nuclear cardiology board certification
  • Echocardiography board certification
• Preferred (not required):
  • CT board certification / cardiac CT interpretation
• License: Pennsylvania license or IMLC accepted
• DEA: Required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year
