Opportunity:

Physician - Urology

Job Details:

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for urology services

  • Work at Level 1 trauma center with full-time locums schedule split across multiple coverage periods

  • Handle 2-6 hours of callback coverage per day

  • See adult patient population (18+) with exception of emergency torsion cases

  • Manage typical daily schedule of 24-28 patients including office visits and procedures

  • Perform core urological procedures including vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy

  • Utilize robotic surgery capabilities and scope procedures as applicable

  • Work with 16 total operating rooms across multiple surgical locations

  • Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants

  • Use EPIC electronic medical record system

  • Access to cystoscope, towers, and injection equipment

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Urology required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required

  • DEA registration required
