DO;MD - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

  • Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures supporting both inpatient and outpatient services

  • Manage diverse procedural mix including biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, GI, GU, and oncology-related interventions

  • Conduct CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies of lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, and bone marrow

  • Perform drain placements and management including abscess drains, chest tubes, and drain exchanges

  • Handle biliary, GI, GU, and vascular procedures and access

  • Perform hemodialysis access procedures and oncology-related interventional procedures

  • Collaborate closely with referring physicians, hospital teams, and procedural staff to deliver comprehensive IR services

  • Interpret advanced imaging studies related to interventional radiology including CTA, MRA, and complex cross-sectional imaging for procedural planning and follow-up

  • Support general diagnostic radiology reads as part of regular responsibilities

  • Participate in call coverage including management of urgent and emergent IR cases

  • Must have active Illinois license required at time of submission

  • Cross-credentialing required at additional medical center facility
