The GI department operates as a consult service, with no direct admissions, ensuring a well-coordinated approach to patient management.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This locum assignment provides a unique opportunity to maintain work-life balance with its flexible scheduling. Physicians are expected to cover 24-hour calls, with shifts typically ending at 7 a.m. the following morning. The facility is seeking candidates who are available for December dates, with additional opportunities to extend into early 2025. This is an ongoing role designed to fill coverage gaps and ensure continuous patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active Colorado license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Active DEA license, with flexibility for a transferred DEA if maintained throughout the assignment.
• Competency in performing ERCP is required.
• Clean malpractice and background history are essential.
• Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship.
