Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

This position offers a dynamic clinical scope that includes performing procedures such as Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, and more. The practice also integrates modern healthcare approaches like telehealth and nutrition counseling. Physicians manage approximately 15-18 patients per day, ensuring a balanced workload in a focused specialty area.

Schedule and Assignment Details

The role offers a predictable Monday to Friday schedule with a 1:9 single hospital call rotation. This structure allows for both professional fulfillment and personal time to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. The start date is flexible, accommodating both new graduates and experienced physicians looking to transition quickly into a new role.

Support and Work Environment

Work alongside a dedicated team of 4 MD/DOs and 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), supported by a comprehensive administrative and clinical staff. The practice fosters a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality care and a seamless patient experience. This supportive framework ensures that you can focus on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Georgia medical license.
• Clean malpractice history is preferred.
• DEA certification required prior to start.
• Not accepting visa candidates at this time.
