Position Details:
Patient Population: Interventional Radiology patients requiring diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Responsibilities:

• Provide daily IR coverage
• Evening call coverage and 24-hour weekend call
• Perform required IR procedures (see below)
• No reading of diagnostics between cases required
  Required Procedures:

• Diagnostic vascular intervention
• Angiography (venous and arterial)
• Angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization therapy
• Interventional procedures (body, non-neuro)
• Vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, port-a-cath insertions
• IVC filters, TIPS, aspiration/drainage procedures
• Percutaneous needle biopsies (above & below diaphragm, bone)
• Extractions (biliary & renal), abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis
• Myelography, pain management procedures, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram
• Blood patch, joint/epidural injections, vertebroplasty, arthrograms
• Chest tube insertion, uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion
• Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, cryoablation
• Preferred but not required: neuro (stroke thrombectomy)

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified Required
• ND License or IMLC Required
• Residency/Fellowship Required
• ACLS, BLS Required
• Clean Malpractice preferred
• Availability at time of name clear Required
• Must have experience with all required procedures (Yes/No per procedure list) Required
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Required
