Yellow Goat Design, a custom lighting studio, is seeking a Design Lead to join their growing team. This position encompasses sales / business development and project management, therefore requiring 3-5 years of experience working at an interior design firm. The project management portion of this role includes extensive design collaboration in a client-facing role. This entails leading a project from concept sketch through to point of sale and collaborating with the A&D community, our in-house design team and fabrication studio. The sales and business development responsibilities include promoting and selling YGD’s designs and services to industry players including design/architecture firms, purchasers, owners and developers. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is organized, passionate and confident in the luxury lighting market. Proactive learners who contribute new ideas and are a team player is a must. Advanced writing and communication skills are also integral to this role. This position is located remotely but must be living in the Dallas, DC, Chicago or California region. Travel will be required including industry events, city trips and team meetings.
