EcoGrid Ltd is a growing SME supplying high-quality construction and landscaping products across the UK and Ireland. We manufacture, import and distribute a range of sustainable and premium products within the construction sector.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Web & eCommerce Technical Specialist to strengthen the technical side of our ecommerce operation.
*About the role*
This role sits at the centre of our ecommerce operation, working across websites, marketplaces and internal systems.
You’ll take ownership of the technical and systems side of our ecommerce operation, working across websites, marketplaces and internal IT systems.
This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving our websites, systems and integrations, while supporting the wider team and helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
*Key responsibilities*
*Web & Platform Management*
· Managing and maintaining ecommerce websites (Shopify, Wordpress)
· Supporting product setup, structure, and content across platforms
· Improving website performance, usability and conversion
*Systems & Technical Support*
· Maintaining integrations between ecommerce platforms, marketplaces and internal systems
· Troubleshooting technical issues across websites, hosting and internal IT systems
· Supporting DNS, hosting, email setup and general system configuration
· Acting as a point of contact for external developers and technical suppliers
*Data Performance & Improvements*
· Monitoring website and channel performance
· Supporting reporting and identifying areas for improvement
· Contributing to conversion rate optimisation and ongoing development
*Systems Development & Efficiency*
· Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes
· Supporting automation and reducing manual workload
· Assisting with ongoing development of tools such as Linnworks and CRM systems
*Team Support & Collaboration *
· Acting as a technical point of escalation for the team
· Supporting and mentoring junior team members
· Working closely with the Web Team Lead to prioritise and deliver work
· Being willing to support day-to-day operations where required

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and helping things run more smoothly.
This is a role for someone who is technically capable, practical, and happy to get stuck in.
*Key skills & experience*
· Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
· Experience managing ecommerce platforms
· Knowledge of hosting, domains, and website infrastructure
· Experience troubleshooting technical and system issues
· Understanding of integrations, APIs, and data flow between systems
· Familiarity with marketplace platforms (Amazon, eBay etc.)
· Experience with CRM systems (ideally Sage)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,500.00-£32,500.00 per year

* E-commerce: 2 years (required)
