We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our organization’s engineering team, technological strategy and innovation. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will drive the development and execution of cutting-edge technology initiatives that align with our business goals.
This is a hands-on (Player/Coach) CTO role to lead the design, development, and deployment of our core platform that leverages computer vision, robotics and machine learning. This role will define the technical foundation of the company and build a world-class engineering organization.
Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our digital infrastructure, ensuring robust security, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the organization’s growth trajectory by leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, robotics, cloud computing, and advanced software development practices.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategies that support business objectives and foster innovation across all departments.
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable products that leverage computer vision and robotics.
* Oversee enterprise software development projects utilizing frameworks such as React and Python, ensuring adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
* Drive advancements in AI, Computer Vision and other machine learning applications to enhance product offerings and operational efficiencies and product features.
* Manage budgets effectively for technology investments while negotiating vendor contracts for hardware, software licenses, services and systems.
* Foster a high-performance technology team through strategic management, leadership development, and cultivating a culture of innovation using Agile methodologies.
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with overall business strategies; communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in senior development management or executive leadership roles within fast-paced organizations.
* Extensive knowledge of software development
* Robotics Experience
* Strong expertise in AI, natural language processing, machine learning algorithms, computer vision and data analysis techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale software development projects using Agile methodologies; proficiency in system design and application development across multiple platforms (React, Python).
* Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure; experience with cloud infrastructure management and cloud development best practices.
* Excellent management skills with a track record of leading diverse technical teams; ability to inspire innovation while maintaining operational excellence.
* Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations; adept at budgeting for large-scale IT projects while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
* Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable solutions aligned with organizational goals. Pay: $142,159.14 - $171,202.41 per year
