Assist the sales manager with day-to-day sales activities and administrative tasks. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. Provide accurate and detailed information about products and services to customers. Assist customers with order processing, including entering orders, preparing quotes, and coordinating scheduling. Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions, orders, and related documentation. Perform accurate data entry to support sales administration and reporting. Analyze customer feedback to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with team members to investigate and resolve complex customer issues. Provide general administrative support to the sales team to ensure efficient operations. Deliver customer service that reflects a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach. Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in customer service, sales assistant, or administrative support roles. Proven experience in sales support or sales administration. Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills. Strong written communication skills for email and chat correspondence. Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to work independently as a self-starter without the need for micromanagement. Organizational skills to maintain detailed records and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in basic administrative tasks and office workflows. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in administrative assistant roles supporting sales or customer-facing teams. Experience in order processing and sales administration. Ability to analyze customer feedback and identify patterns or trends. Bilingual language skills are a plus. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in a small team environment. This is a full-time, fully onsite position working within a close-knit team of approximately five people. You will work directly with and provide ongoing support to the sales manager in a collaborative and supportive environment. The team is growing and aims to add more people, creating opportunities for professional development and advancement for those who perform well. The work setting emphasizes teamwork, open communication, and a customer-focused approach, with typical office-based tools and systems used for data entry, order processing, and communication. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Doswell, VA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
