Orthopedics Physician

Location: Hartford & Waterbury, CT

Position Overview:

A multi-specialty practice focused on injury recovery therapy is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for a flexible locum tenens opportunity in Connecticut. This is a consult-focused, outpatient role with no surgical responsibilities, ideal for providers seeking supplemental income with a minimal time commitment.

Providers will work approximately 2 days per month, splitting time between Hartford and Waterbury (one day in each location). The schedule is highly flexible, allowing you to choose your working days, excluding Sundays and Wednesdays.

Start Date: Immediate
End Date: Ongoing

Schedule:

• 2 days per month

• 1 day in Hartford, 1 day in Waterbury

• Flexible scheduling (any day except Sunday or Wednesday)

Responsibilities:

• Perform orthopedic consultations for injury recovery patients

• Evaluate patients and provide treatment recommendations

• No surgical procedures required

Practice Details:

• Outpatient setting

• All appointments scheduled by the practice

• Billing handled by the organization

• Streamlined workflow with administrative support

Compensation:

• $275 per hour

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon

• Active Connecticut medical license required
