What you need to know
Our client, a global investment banking organisation, is seeking a Head of Compliance for their Dublin branch. This leadership role acts as the primary point of contact with the Central Bank of Ireland and oversees all regulatory compliance, advisory, monitoring, and governance matters. You will guide senior stakeholders, drive compliance culture, and ensure adherence to regulatory permissions and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the compliance function, ensuring appropriate structure, expertise, and governance.
Act as primary liaison with the Central Bank of Ireland, managing supervisory interactions and regulatory correspondence.
Provide regulatory advisory to senior leaders, assessing the impact of regulatory developments.
Oversee compliance monitoring/testing frameworks, issue remediation, and risk escalation.
Support AML/CFT, financial crime obligations, and act as Data Privacy Lead for the branch.
Requirements
Significant senior-level compliance experience within regulated financial services.
Strong knowledge of CBI regulations, EU frameworks, and supervisory engagement.
Proven experience leading monitoring/testing programmes and regulatory inspections.
Expertise in AML/CFT, financial crime, and GDPR/data privacy requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑influencing skills; PCF12 approval required.
