Title: Sales Associate We’re looking for a Sales Associate to support our growth in New York. This role involves a high level of internal partnership between Product and GTM teams: you’ll be the key link between marketing, sales, consulting, and product teams. Your primary goal is to drive top‑of‑the‑funnel pipeline, brand visibility, and initial qualification of leads that convert into consulting opportunities. You’ll report directly to the NYC Sales Leader and provide crucial support in executing campaigns, researching target accounts, and generating high‑quality leads for our consulting teams.
What You’ll Do
This role is not eligible for 100% remote work; employees must live within a commutable distance of the NYC Area.
Campaign Execution & Event Support:
Create, define and drive the success of multi‑channel demand generation campaigns (e.g., email, LinkedIn, events) in collaboration with the Sales team. Activities include list building, scheduling, reach‑outs, on‑site event coordination, attendance, and follow‑ups.
Research & Analysis:
Conduct research on target companies and individuals within the assigned industry/industries, identifying key contacts and relevant information. Conduct analysis on Slalom, our clients, industry trends, and use insights to target and influence buyers.
Data Management:
Maintain data accuracy and integrity within our CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Outreach & Follow‑up:
Conduct initial outreach to prospects (e.g., email, LinkedIn, networking events) to qualify interest and schedule meetings for the sales team. Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.
Personalize & Scale with AI:
Leverage AI‑driven tools and automation to streamline campaign execution, personalize outreach, and scale impact. Continuously identify and implement new practices to gain deeper insights, optimize sales workflows, and deliver tailored solutions to prospects.
Collaboration:
Work closely with sales leadership, alliance teams, and other internal stakeholders.
Industry Alignment:
Become knowledgeable and deepen your expertise within 1–2 of the below industry teams, supporting the go‑to‑market plan: Financial Services, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Media & Entertainment, CPG/Retail, and Public Sector/Social Impact.
What You’ll Bring
1–3 years of previous sales or sales support experience; consulting or technology account sales experience preferred.
Passionate about sales and technology.
Excellent collaboration and team‑building skills.
Organized and methodical; strong prioritization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Proactive self‑starter attitude and a willingness to learn.
Strong relationship‑building skills, both internally and with clients.
Proficient with and excited to use next‑generation AI tooling across all domains of the go‑to‑market workflow.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Bachelor’s degree.
