Orthopedic Technician

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Applies and removes casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices. Performs wound and skin care and provides basic instructions to the patients/significant others. Supports and maintains the University Health's policies, protocols, values, and guest relations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited trade school with a diploma as an Orthopedic Technician or six months experience as an Orthopedic Technician in a similar setting is preferred. The ability to speak Spanish is desirable.
