Synergy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a growing outpatient clinic that strives to deliver individualized, highly specialized physical therapy to patients of all ages in north central Iowa. Current locations include Charles City, Mason City, Northwood, Sheffield and Osage, Iowa.
*Position Summary *
Synergy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is looking for an energetic, goal oriented physical therapist to join our team of professionals. The physical therapist’s role is to evaluate, create and implement a plan of care for each patient. Each plan is designed to assist the patient in achieving maximum benefits for a healthy and active lifestyle.
*Unique Opportunities for Professional Growth *
* Continuing education opportunities and other resources are available. May be completed as a team, individually, in the clinic or by utilizing outside resources. Examples include, but are not limited to: Labs with ATC, AMR to discuss prevention and care for athletic injuries, Observation of orthopedic surgeries, Consults and educational discussions with surgeons/physicians.
* Mentorship program that includes weekly time blocks to practice manual skills, discuss differential diagnosis and work through treatment progressions and address complex patients.
* Team meetings including every employee from each location, to discuss pertinent topics and practices in physical therapy.
* Synergy maintains relationships with four area high schools to provide functional movement screens, concussion management and sport event coverage.
* Perform weekly check-ins with high school athletes and coaching staff to assess injuries and determine the need for additional care.
* Opportunity to visit with area coaches, staff, and administration to discuss the optimization of training of their athletes.
* Community service events that may include; health fairs, in-services, sport event coverage, lectures and parades.
*Education and Experience *
* Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
* Current Professional licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa
