Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

We are excited to invite an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join our expanding team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove!
Your Role and Responsibilities- Manage purchase ledger systems, processes, and controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a dedicated purchase ledger team of 3 staff members.
- Train and educate purchase order users with enthusiasm.
- Ensure timely weekly supplier payment processing and authorization in line with company procedures.
- Resolve queries from suppliers and internal departments efficiently.
- Reconcile monthly statements from suppliers.
- Assist with month-end procedures and year-end accounts, providing necessary audit information.
- Continuously monitor, improve, and develop internal processes.
- Review and follow up on any potentially fraudulent or duplicated invoices, escalating as needed.
- Maintain and enhance fraud prevention controls, including supplier verification and bank detail change checks.
- Produce and review aged creditor reports, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.
- Proven experience in purchase ledger, including familiarity with purchase order systems.
- Previous leadership or people development experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting software.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative team spirit.
