This is a key role where you will take ownership of our core platforms and help shape how data is used across the organisation to improve efficiency, decision-making and scalability.
*About the role*
We are looking for a motivated, analytical and proactive individual to take ownership of our core business systems, data infrastructure and reporting capability.
This is a hands-on, mid to senior level role suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, managing business-critical systems and delivering practical data solutions.
You will work closely with management and operational teams to improve processes, enhance system integrations and develop reporting tools that provide meaningful business insight.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Business Systems Management*
* Administer and optimise the Space Manager self-storage management system
* Manage integrations between Space Manager, Ostara Systems and other operational systems
* Support development and configuration of system integrations using API’s
* Ensure system performance, reliability and data integrity
* Work with operational teams to improve system usage and workflows
*Data Engineering & Reporting*
* Design and improve data flows between systems to ensure accurate and accessible data
* Develop reporting tools and dashboards using data visualisation platforms
* Build automated reports to support operational, financial and strategic decision making
* Work with management to identify key metrics and data insights
* Improve data quality and reporting processes across the organisation
*Systems Integration & Automation*
* Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems
* Configure and manage data exchange processes using API’s
* Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
* Work with third-party software providers to enhance system capabilities & integrations
*Microsoft 365 Administration*
* Manage and administer Microsoft 365 environment including SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive environments
* Manage user access, security policies and device management
* Support collaboration tools across the organisation
*IT & Systems Governance*
* Maintain documentation of systems architecture and integrations
* Ensure system security and best practice access controls
* Support external IT providers in maintaining infrastructure
* Oversee data backup and disaster recovery processes
* Work with external IT providers where required
*Systems Improvement & Projects*
* Lead system improvement initiatives and technology projects
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology
* Support system implementation for new sites and future business growth
*Skills & Experience*
*Essential*
* Strong experience working with SQL databases
* Experience building reports and dashboards using data visualisation platforms
* Experience developing or managing system integrations using API’s
* Experience administering business-critical operational software systems
* Experience working with Microsoft 365 administration
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
* Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
* Comfortable working independently and communicating with non-technical stakeholders
*Desirable*
* Experience with Space Manager or other self-storage management systems
* Experience with Ostara Systems or other CAFM systems
* Experience integrating APIs and business systems
* Experience working in a multi-site operational business

*Salary & benefits*
* £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience
* You will be joining a strong, well-connected and supportive team
* You will be working in a large, spacious, modern office with refreshments included (during office attendance)

* 28 days annual leave, increasing incrementally to 33 days after five years’ service
* Additional 1.5 days leave in December (Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and Christmas party day)
