Are you a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer ready to step into a leadership role, or an existing Lead Engineer looking for more ownership and autonomy?
On offer is the opportunity to join a growing, specialist manufacturer delivering high-quality machinery solutions into the medical sector. This is a key hire within the business, giving you the chance to take ownership of the design function while remaining hands-on.
In this role, you will lead the mechanical design function while actively contributing to design work, overseeing projects from concept through to commissioning. You will manage workloads, support and mentor engineers, and ensure designs meet quality, cost, and compliance standards.
This role would suit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer looking to step up, or a Lead Design Engineer with experience in automation, packaging machinery, or special purpose machinery.
