Join a dedicated team at a well-respected healthcare facility in Richmond, Virginia. This position is set in an inpatient/outpatient practice environment, with a focus on adult and geriatric care. The facility is seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide essential coverage and support while a second physician is being recruited. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, and have access to a robust documentation system, EPIC. The position is available for immediate coverage and operates with a call ratio of 1:6.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other cardiology-related evaluations.
- Provide care for outpatients in the clinic setting.
- Manage a daily average of 10 outpatient clinic patients.
- Oversee 12-15 inpatient admissions per day.
- Supervise four Advanced Practice Providers (APCs).
- Participate in night and weekend call on a rotating basis.
- Board-Certified in Invasive Cardiology.
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified.
- Completed an Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship with LVAD experience.
- Local candidates preferred; mileage reimbursement available.
- Active Virginia medical license.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Clean background check required for consideration.
- Self-Query NPDB report required (to be pulled within the last 30 days).
- Active Virginia medical license - REQUIRED

- ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
- Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship with LVAD experience - REQUIRED
- DEA Registration - REQUIRED
