Radiology - Interventional Physician

Appalachian Vascular and Interventional Radiology (AVIR) is seeking a motivated Interventional Radiologist to join our growing practice serving Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

AVIR is a clinic-based IR group providing comprehensive, minimally invasive care across the Appalachian Highlands. Our physicians practice primarily at Johnson City Medical Center, a 445-bed Level I Trauma Center and a Stroke Center of Excellence, while also supporting Niswonger Children s Hospital and additional Ballad facilities throughout the region.

Our practice model is designed to allow physicians to focus on complex interventions, clinical care, and program growth. A team of five experienced Advanced Practice Providers manage inpatient consultations and performs a wide range of procedures, creating a highly efficient workflow allowing physicians to concentrate on advanced procedures and outpatient clinic care.
