Overview: Our client, a well-established industrial electrical wholesale business based in Gateshead, are looking for a motivated External Sales Representative to join their expanding team.
This role would suit a confident, self-driven individual who enjoys being out on the road, building relationships and actively generating new business opportunities.
Package / Benefits: • Negotiable salary DOE. • Company Car. • Bonus scheme. • 25 days holidays + bank holidays. • Pension scheme. • No weekend hours.
Responsibilities: • Look after an existing ledger of customers and develop sales opportunities within these accounts. • Actively prospect and win new accounts, building a strong pipeline of potential customers through networking, cold calling, and site visits. • Plan and manage your own sales territory, organising regular customer visits to maximise new business opportunities. • Work closely with the branch team to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts and excellent customer service. • Monitor market activity and competitor offerings, identifying opportunities to strengthen the company’s position in the local market. • Consistently achieve sales targets through proactive business development and relationship building.
Skills / Experience: • Industrial Electrical / general Electrical Wholesale experience. • Driving Licence. • Confident communicator and natural relationship builder. • Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage your own diary and sales pipeline effectively. • Positive and driven attitude, with a genuine desire to build a successful career within the electrical wholesale industry.
