*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly skilled *Technical Support Engineer* to provide comprehensive support and troubleshooting services to our vending clients. The successful candidate will play a vital role in resolving technical issues, support customers and ensuring optimal system performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team, utilising a broad range of technical skills across various operating systems and network environments.
*Duties*
* Provide expert-level *technical support* for hardware, software, and network-related issues across diverse platform of vending machines.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to *computer hardware*, *operating systems*, *software applications*, and network connectivity such as *LAN*, *VPN*, *firewall*, and *DNS* configurations.
* Assist end-users via *help desk* channels, ensuring prompt resolution of problems while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Manage user accounts and permissions within *Active Directory* and other identity management tools.
* Document support activities using ticketing systems, ensuring accurate records for future reference. *Requirements* .
* Strong knowledge of *computer networking*, including protocols such as *TCP/IP*, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across various platforms using tools like *Microsoft Office* applications and specialised diagnostic utilities.
* Experience supporting hardware components such as computers, peripherals, and network devices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem resolution combined with excellent customer service skills, making it ideal for candidates passionate about IT support and technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.
