Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year previous healthcare experience practicing at the Master's Degree level

• Ability to function well at a high pace of work

• Ability to build a strong rapport with patients and colleagues

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leadership qualities

Family Medicine Associates of North Stafford was created out of the abundance of need in this community. It is owned and operated by a physician who has been dedicated to the Stafford area for over 17 years. We currently care for children over the age of 5, women and men. We are located in the Aquia Park Professional Centre on Route 1, with close proximity to the I95.
