Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide basic hearing evaluation, otoscopic ear examination and manual cerumen removal in the SNF setting in N CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing assessments, otoscopic ear examinations and cerumen treatments and record in patient records

• Coordinate audiology services and ENT referrals with social services, nursing staff and primary care physician

• Travel to multiple SNF facilities in N CA setting your own schedule

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with active state license

• Provide your own transportation with vehicle, CA driver license and active liability insurance

• Two work references

We make specific recommendations to the primary care physician when appropriate such as audiology testing or further ENT evaluation. We do not prescribe any medications.
