Job Duties
Setting Appointments: 6-8 hours per week — reaching out to potential clients who have previously requested coverage with our company and scheduling a time to meet to discuss mortgage protection coverage.
Research: 4-5 hours per week — digging into the information the client provided to customize options to meet their financial needs in the case of death or disability.
Meeting with Families: 2 days per week — meeting with clients virtually or in-person to present options, discuss coverage details, and help them apply for coverage.
Administrative: 2 hours per week — following up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting.
Qualifications We are looking for coachable, challenge-seeking, self-disciplined individuals with a growth mindset. Skill set isn’t everything for this position.

Compensation and Benefits This is a commission-only sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family protected. Our expectation is that a full-time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we offer a selection of premium financial products to help people save for retirement or protect their retirement accounts (e.g., 401(k)s and IRAs). We provide extensive training on product use and selling. In addition to uncapped commissions, there is a competitive bonus structure and incentive trips for agents/managers based on individual and team results.
