Qualified Assessor in Health and Social Care
We are seeking an experienced Assessor to join our team, providing end-to-end structured support to apprenticeship learners on programme. The successful candidate will ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs.
About the Role
The Apprenticeship Program provides learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in Health and Social Care, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the industry.
Your Impact
- Adapt to learner needs to ensure the highest training standards.
- Cover a regional area, travelling to learners' workplaces for assessments.
- Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways.
- Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets.
- Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed.
- Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.
Requirements
- Relevant training experience and teaching qualifications (e.g., A1 Assessor award).
- Experience in an apprenticeship setting.
- Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
- Welsh speaking is desirable.
