DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this IT Tech position, you will be an integral member of the Scheduling Unit team, responsible for day‑to‑day operations and handling interactions with this team and the ISO TSO Account Administration team. You will implement computer operations to meet all scheduled deadlines, multitask, prioritize work assignments, and handle phone calls professionally. Work involves configuring and monitoring operation control and cross‑platform scheduler software, monitoring the mainframe database, and unlocking and resetting account passwords.
Your role will be a liaison between outsource personnel and technical operations staff. Your keen eye for detail and proactive communication skills will be key for notifying database administrators of database issues, server administrators of server issues, and application developers and administrators of batch issues.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full‑time employment
Work hours: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch
Telework: Opportunity to work from home part‑time, up to three days per week. Telework requires a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you may report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Telework eligibility may change at any time.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
One year of experience as an IT Help Desk Technician (Commonwealth or equivalent Federal Government job title), or
Two years of experience providing IT support services involving hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance; or
One year of experience providing IT support services involving hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance and completion of a one‑year apprenticeship in the IT technical support field; or
An associate degree in an IT field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to meet the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements
You must meet the PA residency requirement.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.

You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
