Über

* 10+ experience scheduling with MS Project.
* Advanced MS Project skills.
* Develop and maintain schedules and integrated master schedules.
* Develop project management plans.
* Extensive experience in providing detailed analysis of project schedules, from project inception, through the design phases to development and implementation.
* Monitor project progress and provide weekly status updates.
* Create schedule what-if scenarios.
* Hold periodic review meetings with each functional lead to validate their schedule and work.
* Setup the required reports to track progress, variances, critical path and conflicts.
* Work with the Program Control team and the Subject Matter Experts for the establishment of percentage complete of schedule tasks and associated costs.
* Support the Project Manager on change management, float and schedule mitigation plans where applicable.
* Provide impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities and proactively develop mitigation strategies for the Project Management team.
* Ability to develop fully networked schedules using predecessors and successors along with effective activity duration affording discreet progress measurement.
* Audit schedules for compliance with set standards and templates and generate evaluation report.
* Knowledge and experience in schedule quality analysis i.e., DCMA 14 pt assessment and GAO scheduling best practices.
* Hands on experience with Monte Carlo simulation and tools like @risk.
* Good reporting skills, e.g. graphical presentation, advanced Microsoft Excel skills (charts, pivot tables).
* Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis or project schedule, cost and identify performance issues.
* Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify project work and use this information to develop coordinated master schedule.
* Work with the Program Control team to develop templates and artifacts to collect the information about project work; design a process to track the identified work.
* Hold periodic review meetings with each functional lead to validate their schedule and work.
* Know-how to perform critical path analysis of schedules within MS Project or other tools.
* Setup the required reports to track progress, variances, critical path and conflicts.
* Support baseline Planned Value maintenance, including rolling wave planning.
* Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, set priorities, organize and coordinate work with others, and meet deadlines.
* Effectively communicate technical information and complex ideas.
* Effectively demonstrate public speaking skills both in prepared presentations and impromptu speaking
* Familiarity with FAA Programs is preferable
