As a Content Design Manager, you will be within PNC's Retail organization, supporting the Digital team. You will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, and Columbus, OH. We're looking for a Senior Content Design Manager to join PNC Bank's Digital team to lead our UX writing and content design practice. At PNC, you'll build digital solutions to provide the easiest way to bank and invest to help customers achieve financial well-being. You'll be a key player in shaping product design and strategy leading the writing team in collaboration with product managers, experience designers, agile development teams, and core product team members. You'll use a strong, critical voice to deliver an engaging, consistent, and accessible experience to our audiences. We're looking for someone who is passionate about using words to shape experiences and has experience guiding and developing writers both individually and as a team to grow the maturity of the writing practice. In this role, you will: Lead, mentor, and provide direction to a team of content designers who are each working with designers, product managers, and agile crews to develop new digital features and experiences Establish a vision for UX content in our digital experiences and create and execute a plan to make that vision come to life Partner with design and product management leaders and other business partners to shape the high-level direction of initiatives and guide the work of team members bringing it to life Oversee our content guidelines and other standards and guide the team in creating consistent experiences across our digital touchpoints We think you could be successful if you: Have experience building and growing teams and refining team culture and practices Love language and feel passionate about things like voice, style, and grammar Advocate for users and inspire a culture of design thinking Have experience working in an agile software development environment Have working knowledge of design fundamentals in a digital space Preferred qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a writer for digital experiences, with 3+ years in a lead or management role Experience working in banking or financial services is a plus, but is not required PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Lead content vision and strategy for digital experiences in partnership with design, product management, and technology leaders. Oversee strategy on delivering an engaging, consistent, and accessible experience to our audiences. Lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices. Deliver a UX content vision, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates that implements the larger vision over time. Lead UX content design reviews and review deliverables from content designers. Mentors and develops leaders among the team. Advise on strategy for integrating writing and content strategy into the digital product development process in partnership with design, product management, and technology leaders. Base Salary: $114,500.00 $202,150.00Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance. Application Window
